Unstoppable: China’s Ye Shiwen eases to first place finish during heats for the 200m individual medleyNo stopping Ye: China’s 16-year-old sensation causes more ripples in the pool

Ye Shiwen, the teenage Chinese swimming sensation who is becoming the talk of the Olympic Games, delivered another stunning performance in the heats of the women’s 200m individual medley.
Ye has made the headlines, and aroused suspicion of doping in senior swimming circles, after covering the last 50m of her 400m individual medley faster than Ryan Lochte – and indeed Michael Phelps – did his in winning gold in the men’s event.
But reacting to the claims, IOC’s medical chief insisted he had no reason to have suspicions.
